| Using footage from the rehearsals and performances of seven productions, STATE LEGISLATURE and DOMESTIC VIOLENCE director Frederick Wiseman explores all aspects of The Paris Opera Ballet Company, from hallways and classrooms, to its beautiful finished productions. Though working with subject matter lighter than typical of Wiseman, he still brings his classic, stern approach to filmmaking without diminishing the beauty of the dancers he features.
