| Premiering at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, horror thriller THE AWAKENING stars Rebecca Hall as a supernatural hoax investigator in 1920s England. Still haunted by the recent death of her fiancé, she is approached to investigate the death and subsequent ghostly sightings of a student at an all-boys boarding school. Initially, the mystery surrounding the ghost appears nothing more than a schoolboy prank, but as Florence continues to investigate events at the school, she begins to believe that her reliance on science may not be enough to explain the strange phenomenon going on around her. |
