| This deliriously witty follow-up to writer/director Julie Delpy’s 2 DAYS IN PARIS finds Marion (Delpy) living comfortably in New York with her hip radio host boyfriend Mingus (Chris Rock) and their two young kids from prior relationships. When her outspoken, eccentric French family shows up for a surprise visit, a boisterous culture-clash ensures. With great skill and energy, Delpy heightens cultural differences to comedic extremes but also manages to show that sometimes change is the best solution to a relationship that’s been pushed to its limit. |
