Angelika New York: Q&A with filmmaker Julius Onah and star Kelvin Harrison, Jr. Saturday 8/3 following the 8:00pm show

Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize nominee LUCE centers on a seemingly-perfect family - parents (Naomi Watts and Tim Roth) and their adopted son Luce (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) , who has become an all-star student beloved by his community in Arlington, Virginia. When he is assigned to write an essay in the voice of a historical twentieth-century figure, Luce turns a paper in to his teacher Ms. Wilson (Octavia Spencer) that makes an alarming statement about political violence. With suspicious inkling driving her, she searches his locker and finds something that causes an intense upheaval within Luce's family and community.
