Asian Film Awards Best Film nominee

In his first English-language film, visionary Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho (THE HOST, MOTHER) mounts a visually breathtaking sci-fi epic in which the survivors of Earth’s new Ice Age are forced to live aboard a train in perpetual motion around the globe. This ambitious adaptation of the popular French graphic novel follows group of insurgents from the impoverished rear car, led by Chris Evans and John Hurt, as they attempt to liberate the train from its decadent ruling class and mysterious mastermind (Tilda Swinton). As cryptic messages incite the passengers to revolt, the train hurtles full-throttle towards disaster. (Closed Captions available)
