In 1950s Southern California, Kroc meets brothers Mac and Dick McDonald (John Carroll Lynch and Nick Offerman), and sees franchise potential in their speedy system of food-service. He maneuvers himself into a position to be able to pull the company from the brothers, ultimately creating McDonald's.
